Our Projects

Walmart

Installing a Ceiling Containment System in a Walmart Supercenter presented unique challenges. With valuable merchandise and perishable groceries in close proximity, the risk of contamination from dirt, dust, and debris during the re-roofing process was a primary concern.

Anheuser-Busch

The interior protection solution implemented at the Anheuser-Busch Warehouse and Bottling Facility was not merely about installing a Ceiling Containment System but orchestrating a symphony of precision, collaboration, and innovation to shield a facility that operates 24/7, all while navigating the challenges presented by a roof deck soaring over 80 feet high.

Vuteq

The client having initially rejected Interior Protection for their partial re-roofing project, urgently sought out a Ceiling Containment Solution due to the contamination of their machinery by dirt, dust and debris once re-roofing started.

Nu-Ceil™ is approved for installation below fire suppression sprinklers.

Nu-Ceil™ is engineered to meet the most rigorous standards of the International Building Code and International Fire Code. This ensures that our Ceiling Containment System can be safely installed below NFPA 13 fire suppression sprinklers across North America—without compromising their performance in the rare event of a fire.

Nu-Ceil™ has been tested under real fire conditions in ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratories to verify that it neither ignites nor spreads flames. It is also ISO/IEC 17065 certified, and undergoes ongoing, randomized quality inspections under ISO/IEC 17020 standards to guarantee consistency, reliability, and peace of mind on every project.

Innovation

Nu-Ceil™ is our newest generation, patent-pending containment film.

Anti-Static

Static build-up can pose a threat to servers, electronics, computers and other IT related hardware. Nu-Ceil™ is specifically engineered to dissipate static and prevent static build-up.

Antimicrobial

Nu-Ceil™ features antimicrobial properties and a food-safe rating, ensuring a hygienic environment for both workers and customers during construction and re-roofing projects.

Approved Below Sprinklers

Capturing the dust/debris that falls from a ceiling (roof deck) is one thing. However, this must be done while not impeding the fire suppression system in the building and ensuring that the CCS material itself won’t add to or propagate the fire. Nu-Ceil™ meets relevant building and fire code requirements and is approved for installation below NFPA 13 Fire Suppression Sprinklers.

UL Tested

This means that Underwriter Laboratories, a globally recognized authority in fire safety has tested Nu-Ceil’s performance under fire conditions and confirms that it will not catch fire or spread flames and conducts continuous and randomized quality assurance inspections to confirm the product’s consistency.

Load Tested

Nu-Ceil™ has been extensively load tested. While meant to catch dirt, dust and debris, should on rare occasion a larger or sharper object fall onto the containment system, it will stretch and absorb rather than puncture or tear.

DrJ Tested

DrJ Engineering is an internationally recognized product certification body with expertise in construction, engineering and prevention against fire. DrJ’s trusted evaluation certifies Nu-Ceil’s Fire Testing Data, Code Compliance, and Compliance with Product Certification Standards. DrJ stands behind their certification of Nu-Ceil with their ANAB-accreditation and a Professional Engineering Seal.

High Luminous Transmittance

Repeatedly we were told that it is a benefit to be able to see what is above the containment material since the typical white tarpaulin used for interior protection blocks the view. Nu-Ceil™ is translucent, and allows 80% of light to pass through so that you can see what’s above.

Biosustainable™

BioSustainable ™ polymers undergo accelerated, safe, and natural bio-degradation without affecting recyclability, in accordance with ASTM D5338 under controlled composting conditions.
